VACANCY FOR AN ADMINISTRATOR

FOR OUR CHURCHES

The 3 Hayling Anglican Parishes seek an Administrator. This is an exciting new role, created because the three parishes recently came together under one Vicar and Associate Priest.

Working from the Vicarage, the Administrator will play a proactive role in designing and implementing electronic (Office 365) and paper administrative systems.

The post will be for 15 hours per week permanently, with an additional 7 hours per week for the first six months of the role (subject to possibly renewal according to need), which will involve administration for the fundraising for the St Mary's Community Spirit Appeal. Key tasks will involve: electronic diary management, weekly service sheets, administration for weddings, funerals and baptisms, administration associated with both graveyards, and being a first port of call for inquiries to the parishes.

Ideally we are seeking someone highly computer literate, able to work proactively alone and as part of a team, personable, adaptable, a good communicator, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Mutually convenient flexible working hours can be discussed; up to £10.50 per hour depending on experience.

For an informal conversation or an application pack please contact the Vicar Jenny Gaffin

on 02393 070178 or jennyhaylingvicar@hotmail.com.

Deadline for applications - Thursday 13th April at 12 noon.  Interviews - Thursday 27th April.
